The main goal of this opportunity is to perform desk research, implement surveys and contribute to the study report about the inclusiveness and attractiveness of training related to clean and sustainable energy in Portugal.
You will be able to perform part of the research for the project SECOVE – Sustainable Energy Centres of Vocational Excellence.
The aim of this project is to establish a network of cooperation among Centres of Vocational Excellence (CoVEs) in the sector of clean and sustainable energy involving 5 European countries (Greece, Spain, Italy, Slovakia, and Portugal). Within this project, part of the work will be dedicated to improving the attractiveness of the sector of clean and sustainable energy, by ensuring that the training activities are inclusive and encouraging women in technical professions.
Your internship has a concrete goal: to perform desk research, implement surveys and contribute to the study report about the inclusiveness and attractiveness of training related to clean and sustainable energy in Portugal. The aim of this research is to see how much training on sustainable energy is inclusive, especially for women, and how the project can increase the inclusiveness and attractiveness in this field.
Your research will focus on the Portuguese reality, but will also include research and identification of good practices at the European level within the sector or at other sectors.
Throughout this process, you will get constant support and guidance from the project manager and a junior researcher.
There are 3 options for you:
Option A – 6 weeks face-to-face: Starting 07 November and ending 16 December.
Option B – 6 weeks face-to-face: Starting 14 November and ending 22 December.
Option C – Hybrid, 2 weeks at distance + 4 weeks face-to-face: Starting 12 December up to 23 December at distance + from 02 January up to 27 January face-to-face.
