The internship will involve supporting Bursa Eskişehir Bilecik Development Agency (BEBKA) with the research pertaining to EU funds (such as Horizon Europe or others) that are aimed at promoting sustainable development, entrepreneurship ecosystem, Vocational educational trainings and youth employability. BEBKA is conducting regional plan for 2023-2027. This plan, which is shaped by BEBKA with the contributions of representatives of the public, private sector and non-governmental organizations, aims the recognition of the region by the stakeholders in the region, the development of a common awareness and purpose, and directs the cooperation within and outside the region, and to take maximum advantage of local opportunities through the use of technological resources. This study will include analysis and workshops. The intern will research global and national trends by means of sustainability and contribute to the regional plan.
This internship benefits the student(s) by:
- • Exposing the students towards the various funding opportunities that are available within the EU and beyond for innovative sustainable ventures
- • Equip them with the knowledge of how to analyse requirements of specific funds
- • Being a member of a team, which conducts strategic planning and regional plan
- • Having understandings of project cycle management, grant programs, monitoring and evaluating processes
