Practical Assignment
Supposing you are assigned to implement a research project using the Participatory Action Research Methodology:
- Choose a social issue that affects your local community. (15 min)
- Who would you select to partner with in order to implement your project (organizations, professors, local government etc)? (15 min)
- Make a short research on the internet on what funds can you obtain for your project? How would you approach the funding agency? (20 min)
- Which method or methods best suits your project? (15 min)
- What methodology will you choose in order to analyze the collected data? (10 min)
- How will you disseminate the results of your study? (10 min)
- How will you take advantage of the results in order to make a change? (20 min)
- What evaluation system will you use to evaluate your research project? (15 min)
